What counts as a message? Each question a guest sends Otis is one message, like "What's the Wi-Fi?". Otis's replies, alerts to you and your own changes don't count.
What 2,000 looks like: a 3-bedroom holiday let typically uses about 50–100 a month, a 5-room B&B around 250, a 40-pitch campsite around 700, and a busy café or pub up to 2,000.
Going over? Otis keeps answering. If it happens often we'll talk about the right plan, and guests are never cut off mid-stay.

Money questions, answered.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. Sign up and set up your first space for free, and see your guest page working. You add a card only when you start your free trial, which is also when your page opens to guests.
When am I charged?
Not for 14 days after you start your trial. Your first payment is on day 14, then the same each month (or year). Stripe emails you a reminder before the trial ends, and a receipt each time you pay.
What if I cancel during the trial?
You pay nothing. Cancel from Plan & billing in your dashboard any time before the trial ends.
Is there anything I can't do on the trial?
Everything's switched on. To keep things fair, a trial can run up to 3 spaces, and Otis gives up to 150 answers a day on each (after that it answers from what you've filled in until the next day). Want more straight away? Start your plan early from Plan & billing and the limits lift.
What happens when I add another space?
Its price is added to your plan, prorated to the day, so you only pay for the part of the month you have it. Remove one and it comes off the same way. With 5 or more spaces on a plan, every one of them drops to the lower price.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, from Plan & billing. Yearly costs the same as 10 months.
What if a busy month goes over the allowance?
Otis keeps answering your guests. Allowances are fair use, not a hard stop: if it happens often we'll get in touch about the right plan. Guests are never cut off mid-stay.
Do you add VAT?
Prices are shown without VAT. Your Stripe receipt shows exactly what you paid.
