Open your guest page and the first thing your guests now see is Otis, standing at his desk under a sky. Your place's name, logo, welcome line and cover photo sit right there with him, all in one panel, with the chat just below.
It's tidier than before, and it puts the most useful thing on the page front and centre: someone to ask.
He keeps time
Otis follows the clock where your place is, not where your guest's phone thinks it is.
- Morning (5am to noon): a dawn sky and a steaming mug of coffee.
- Afternoon: blue sky, a drifting cloud, and a wave hello.
- Evening (from sunset, or 6pm, whichever's first): a sunset sky and a candle beside him.
- Night (10pm to 5am): moon, stars, heavy eyelids and the odd yawn. After midnight he greets guests with "Hello, night owl".
If you've added a cover photo, it becomes the backdrop, with a wash of the same sky over it. Guests who keep the page open see it change as the day goes on.
Otis saysI'm not really asleep on the night shift. Mostly I'm just resting my eyes.
Why bother?
Whether it's a camper checking the shower block at 7am, a member hunting for a meeting room after lunch, or someone at the bar asking about allergens at 9pm, a page that knows what time it is feels like someone's actually there. That's the whole idea of Otis.
A few other tidy-ups
- Help is always a tap away. As guests scroll down a long chat, a slim bar with Otis and a Help button slides in at the top.
- Fewer boxes before the chat. A little note, the time of sunset and the day of their stay now sit quietly under Otis's name.
- Shorter small print. The AI note is now one line, with a link to the full privacy details.
There's nothing to switch on. Every guest page has it already.
